Know the client:  Nom-Nom is a Korean bakery part of the Sumi Yashshree Hotels chain. Previously established in Siliguri and Darjeeling, its third outlet was set to open in Gangtok, necessitating a comprehensive launch campaign.

Challenges: 

  • Lack of familiarity with the Gangtok location and its target audience.  
  • Selection of an appropriate brand theme
  • Development of a mascot for brand promotion.
  • Planning of activities and offers for the opening day


Solutions :

  • Conducted thorough research on the location and identified the target audience, primarily individuals aged 18-30.
  • Collaborated closely with the client through meetings to select the right color theme, content tone, and designs.
  • Decided with the design team to create a mascot—a cute Korean girl—that aligned with the brand’s theme.
  • Developed engaging opening day activities and promotional offers after further research and discussions with the team and client.

Results achieved:

  • The campaign successfully increased foot traffic to the bakery.
  • The locals responded positively to the organized activities and offers.
  • The number of followers on the Sumi Yashshree main page also increased significantly.
